Moderating content in Drupal
About the Session
We will talk about moderating content generated by users (and maybe non-users) in Drupal. If you have a site with lots of user generated content, you may have already run into spam, trolling or other forms of abuse intended towards readers (and possibly administrators) of your site. We will take a look at:
Session Outline
- What drupal offers out of the box
- Solutions (modules) from the drupal community at large (flag_content, troll, abuse, flag, modr8)
- Personal experiences (stories?) and strategies on moderating over a million pieces of content.
- Ideas and other solutions from the community on tackling this issue.
Panel? BoF?
I would like for this to be a very interactive session and welcome others to join me in their own experiences and solutions. If you would like present with me, please comment back :)
About the Presenter
Ashok is a wacky Canadian who misses his igloo and reminisces about kids taking their time to try and comment spam views on a site he previously worked on.
