Chris Charlton, LA Drupal Manager & Lead Event Organizer
Chris helped grow the Drupal vibe in Los Angeles. Our meetups are also popular networking nights. Originating with less than 100 members, Chris has pushed membership above 600 and remains a Drupal junkie; speaking at many conferences and camps nearby and across the country. Through support and mentoring, our local Drupal group turned into a powerful group of trendsetters.
Chris is an author, Drupal contributor, and has been a leader over the years helping many Drupal events nationwide, and is proud to call Los Angeles his home.
Christefano, LA Drupal Manager & Lead Event Organizer
Christefano has been an LA Drupal manager since 2008 and is one of the lead DrupalCamp LA 2010 organizers. He is a frequent presenter at the LA Drupal meetups and is co-presenting the popular Professional Staging and Deployment session again this year.
As LA Drupal’s self-appointed Director of Special Projects, Christefano recently co-produced LA Drupal’s Git with Drupal 7 event, which combined a Git bootcamp with a Drupal 7 code sprint. Christefano also volunteers his time to help run and maintain the drupalcampla.com, ladrupal.org and groups.drupal.org/la infrastructure and helps his co-managers fund raise and promote Drupal events all over Southern California.
In addition to his work in LA Drupal, Christefano is a Drupal core contributor and a founding member of the Santa Barbara and Drupal Fit groups. He is CTO and co-founder of Exaltation of Larks, a Drupal shop with offices in Los Angeles and Boston.
Mike Stewart, LA Drupal Manager & Lead Event Organizer
Mike has helped LA Drupal grow by organizing meetups, lab sessions, and video archives of each meeting. He is an open source fan and has promoted Drupal & other FOSS projects at various events such as SCaLE & LinuxWorld, and of course Drupalcon participation.
Based on Crystal Williams design, Mike themed the 2008 Drupal Camp Los Angeles web site, and supported camp operations to help things and people get where they were needed.
Mike has been involved with local Drupal events for years and is always open to new business opportunities that mesh well with his family lifestyle as a full-time dad and not quite full time Drupaller. Hit him up if your need help in a less than full-time capacity.
Nicole Bluto, Drupalchix & Install-fest organizer
Nicole began using Drupal a bit more than a year ago and has helped breathe new life into the LA Drupal user community. She participates in meetups and comes with a deep curiosity and an avid love of Drupal. She totally stepped up as a sponsor and helped organize both the Drupalchix track as well as taking the role of lead organizer for the Install-fest.
Rain Breaw, LA Drupal Manager & Lead Event Organizer, Drupalchix Organizer
Rain is a small-business owner, a filmmaker, a web designer, a photographer. She co-organized the Drupalchix track for the 2009 DrupalCamp LA with Nicole Bluto, and has been building Drupal sites since 2007. To date, Rain has had a lead role in the development of over two dozen drupal sites, including StandUp2Cancer.org and CAVotes.org.
John Romine, Venue Coordinator, Event Organizer
John is Director of Computing for the School of Engineering at UC Irvine. John’s been working with Drupal since 2007, and with PHP and MySQL for about 10 years. John’s an OC native, and participates in the LA Drupal, OC Drupal, and OC PHP groups.
