In this session we’ll walk through taking a real website from concept to online very quickly. Demonstrating the power of Drupal 7 and Drupal Gardens. We’ll setup a real website for a small community in the Southwest and in doing so will cover several key elements of setting up any site whether for your club, business, event or community.

In setting up the site and getting it online we’ll cover:

  • Setting up Domain name
  • Analytics for websites
  • Integration of social media content (Twitter)
  • Creating a unique and usable visual identity for the site (theming)
  • Search engine optimization basics (SEO) – how to get your site found
  • Viral promotion fo the site
  • Login to post comments
