PHP5
PHP5 code is another requirement for the editor/IDE.
JavaScript/CSS/HTML are not required but highly desired.
Komodo Edit
I’ve been using Komodo Edit (http://www.activestate.com/komodo-edit) for the better part of a year now and its pretty darn awesome (yes, it is also Open Source :))
demo Komodo Edit?
Would you be willing to demo Komodo Edit?
If this session goes for 1 hour we each prepare 10 minute demos and take questions from the audience without going over our time. If we get a two hour spot then we can demo for 20 minutes and take questions.
Absolutely!
Absolutely! 10 minutes sounds like the perfect amount of time for a demo :)
Oooooooooo - vi emulation in Komodo?
How’s the vim emulation? That’s the one thing I miss with using Eclipse or Netbeans….
Eclipse has a vi plugin emulator, but when I tried it out, I wasn’t terribly impressed with it.
Schedule conflict :(
I am presenting at the same time as this presentation, so I can’t come out to demo Komodo. Sorry!
Had no idea Dreamweaver had
Had no idea Dreamweaver had all that going for it. Guess I’ll have to look at it again. Thatnks for the presentation, guys!

Perfect timing. My new Drupal article on Adobe.com has been released. I recommend you give it a quick read as it covers working with Drupal in CS5.
