I’ll review all the usual suspects when it comes to places to look to identify what’s going awry with your web site:

• $messages (duh)
• error_log
• watch dog

And I’ll also review some techniques on how to setup and use a debugger, and also troubleshoot your JavaScript.

• Eclipse IDE or NetBeans
• Local development environment (MAMP/WAMP/XAMPP)
• Firefox + Firebug

This session is intended for coders, people working on custom modules and themes, that know how to monkey around with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
… and people that want to be a coder, of course. :)
