Duration:
One hour

The available node Import/Export solutions do not handle many of the more complex aspects of Ubercart products. During this session I will outline the logic necessary to write your own Import / Export module handling:

  1. Bulk import of digital download product files
  2. Bulk import of files for reference by Product Nodes
  3. Bulk export of all products of a given class
  4. Bulk import of products of a given class, handling:
    1. Multiple skus per product
    2. Multiple product options with different prices for each option
    3. Attaching digital download product files as product download features
    4. Product taxonomy

  5. and some tips for bending Excel to your will when creating complex CSV fields.

This session is for those already familiar with Ubercart, since the gritty details are the basis of much of the information I will be providing.
