Building On Solr Search

Using Solr Search to replace the core Drupal search is an exciting and easy way to make search better on your site, but often there’s a need to expand on what’s provided out of the box. This session will go over the best modules that exist to extend the Apache Solr module and then will go into techniques and tricks to use to make your own custom changes to how search results are indexed and presented.

This is a heavy development session – I will be going into code, pointing out hooks and object oriented things, and if you’re not comfortable with slinging a little PHP this is not the session for you!
