Bio

I have been a staff member at UCI for more than fourteen years. I started out working at the Help Desk at Office of Information Technology (OIT). We were known as the Office of Academic Computing (OAC) in those days and as Network & Academic Computing Services (NACS) for a long time after that.

I still work at OIT, but I am now the webmaster for the department and head up a team of web content specialists. I also maintain the Safe Computing site and work on special projects, like the roll out of WordPress MU as a blogging service to the campus and UCI’s iTunesU. I'm interested in learning more about Drupal as a CMS solution.

I love my job and feel fortunate to work in an academic setting. I am surrounded by brilliant and interesting people and am helping to educate young minds. Who could ask for more? Well, maybe if I could have an office cat my life would be ideal. ;)
