Bio

I'm a researcher and media maker working on the political economy of communication, community media, and the transnational movement for media justice and communication rights. I like to help community based organizations and social justice activists use free software to save the world. I'm currently a Knight Media Policy Fellow at the New America Foundation, and in the fall of 2010 I'll begin a Fellowship at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
